I feel like I am constantly on the go. Whether I am hoping on the L train to commute to work, taking the Metra train for a weekend in the suburbs, or going on a mini-roadtrip, I feel as though I have been in a constant state of motion the past few weeks.
You should all know by know that music is a huge part of who I am. I grew up listening to my parents' music - some of my fondest memories are with my family listening to music - going to see the Doobie Brothers in concert, decorating the Christmas tree with Celine Dion playing in the background. I played the saxophone for much of my childhood, all the way through high school. I have to have music at all time. The absence of music makes me feel uncomfortable.
Music is even more crucial when I am commuting in some form or another. Perhaps it is simply that I enjoying pretending that there is a soundtrack playing in the background of my life.
