I Can Change.

When your time runs outAnd you're looking for a place to landI step from the shadowInto the palm of your handWhen you're out of luckI'll be what you're looking forEven if it's not who I amWhen you're out of luckI'll be what you're looking forEven if it's not who I am

Tuesday's are easily one of my favorite days of the week. The dreaded Monday Blues have come and gone. You are starting to get back into the swing of the work week. But most importantly, Tuesday's mean new music on Spotify. It has become a ritual. Every Tuesday I wake up, go to the gym for a workout and then I come home to get ready for the day. As I start the morning's pot of coffee, I pull on my Urbanears headphones and begin listening to the week's newest music. Some familiar artists. Others I've never heard of. A little bit of country and a little bit of rock'n'roll. This is what gets me through the week. New music.

Brandon Flowers has been a staple on New Music Tuesday recently and I couldn't be happier. His newest album, The Desired Effect, out May 19th, is easily the best solo material he has released. I won't lie, I still long for the days of The Killers' Hot Fuss, but I am ecstatic with the direction Flowers has taken in his most recent venture. Dare I say it? I predict this album will be in my top 3 favorite albums of 2015.

Most of this week's music I came across while listening to New Music Tuesday on Spotify. A few are not so new, but new to me. I've been listening to this playlist since I woke up this morning and I have a feeling it will be getting me through Hump Day. Enjoy!
