This weekend. Was BEAUTIFUL. Tommy currently looks like this. No really. I went on a mens retreat with some buddies up to Wisconsin and I made the incredibly wise decision to not wear sunscreen. It's only April, why would I need to worry about my skin? It's not like I'm albino or anything...I just happened to be a studly Scandinavian man who happens to turn fifty shades of pink during the summer months. Whatever. It all turns to a golden bronze after a few burns anyways. Just go with it. I do.

After bronzing skin while playing baseball and boating I headed to the suburbs for a bridal shower for some very close friends. There wedding is this June in Boston. Dream wedding on the water? Yup, it's happening! Thank you Sarah and Alex for making my preppy East Coast dreams come true! I am already counting down the days until I say "Peace out Chitown" and fly to Boston for a long weekend. I don't take many vacations so I get very excited when I get the opportunity to go somewhere. I've been to the East Coast before ("Duh Tommy, you lived in NYC...") but there will never be a reason not to go back!

In honor of the impending summer wedding, I want to raise a glass to the brides and say Cheers and Congratulations! I am so excited to be sharing the special day with you in a few months.

Now about this martini...Carla (my mother) has a way of finding some incredible cocktail beverages. For someone that doesn't drink much besides wine, she sure knows how to pick them. We'll just chalk it up to good taste. She ordered this martini at a restaurant a few years ago and holy mother of pearl. It's incredible. It is also incredibly dangerous. All alcohol. All deliciousness. Way too easy to chug them. But either way it's delicious. And I will always want another. So pour up, sit back and drink up!
